National Day of Prayer

Make plans to join us for the Annual National Day of Prayer. Our observance of this years events will be held on Thursday, May 2nd, at 12:00 noon on the Coos Bay Boardwalk.

This years Bible passage is: 2 Samuel 22:29-31. “For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.”

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families.
